We close on the house today at 2:00. Isn't that exciting? We couldn't have gotten it done though without the help of many friends, who sacrificed their personal time to help us out. I am actually shocked in some ways. Throughout this process, I have wondered to myself, if I would be so helpful to my friends if they needed me. I hope I would be.
We got a call from the bank last Wednesday saying that the house HAD to be finished by Monday. Why? I don't know, something about the economy, not quite sure. Andy did not give me time to fuss too much, we just had to get it all done. Britt and Phil heard the news and came over that night to help us paint. My co- worker and her husband came Saturday and Sunday and did sooo much work. Ben, Russ, and Todd came Sunday. Pedigo has been there to help a lot too. Not just this weekend, but these dear friends have been there for us the whole time, giving time and energy whenever they can and we are so very thankful! We couldn't have done it without you! I keep thinking I need to give "shout outs" to people, but anyone I didn't mention probably is not a blog reader anyway.
